I have been discussing reviewing our Enforcement Policy. This was reviewed 2 years ago but in the light of the additional enforcement provisions in the Localism Act, PPG18 going and paragraph 107 of the NPPF talking about an Enforcement Plan this seems a good time for a review. We have talkied about consulting Parishes at the initial stage rather than on a draft document, to ask what they would like to see as priorities for enforcement - we are aware that flyposting is a big issue for some parishes but it would good to know what other subjects they think are important to them. Currently parishes are having training on preparing parish or local plans so now could be a good time to undetake the consultation as part of that process. Id be interested to know if anyone else is going through a similar process and can offer any insight. It would be good to share ideas and practice.
