Like many planning depts, we have a duty planner covering the usual 9-5 hours Mon to Friday. It does get well used, and we are covering a range of calls from agents seeking pre 'pre app' advice, and local residents looking for help on their own proposals or other general enquiries. Whilst it is a service we want to provide, it is time consuming, and many of the questions asked could easily be answered with information already on the web. In attempt to make finding answers easier, we are about to develop some FAQs which people could be directed towards, and wondered whether others had already done something we could 'borrow' or maybe had a different approach to this area of work.
