List of PPS7 Annex A 'exceptional' houses?

Someone suggested to me recently that only 15 Annex A 'exceptional' dwellings have ever been approved for construction in 'open countryside'? Does this sound correct? Is there a master list somewhere of these 'exceptional' & 'groundbreaking' houses?

Re: List of PPS7 Annex A 'exceptional' houses?

Found the info! See: http://www.architecturalpublishing.co.uk/index.html Amazingly fewer than 50 PPG7/PPS7 houses have obtained approval since 1997, with maybe only 50% actually being built! Some might come to the conclusion that rural houses can be built - but ONLY if you are rich enough to afford the design and construction of a very top-end house. One interesting point is that the PPG7/PPS7 houses had to be innovative ... in other words EACH new house needs NEW innovation. Clone houses of other PPS7 houses - however superb - are NOT permitted. Baby, bathwater?
