Ilya Sutskever, co-founder and chief scientist of OpenAI explains why he believes AI projects should be close-sourced. His arguments for closed-source AI are that it limits the capabilities of the AI and protects the integrity of the code – so there are no hidden viruses or exploits that open-sources suffer with.
