What is Sector Resilience?

Sector Resilience is the ability to adapt to and manage challenges that threaten heritage. By ensuring that we are incorporating the four cornerstones into our work throughout the sector and using the most current knowledge available, we can ensure that we are prepared to evolve and grow with the changing times.

 

What’s is the Hub for?

The Resilience Hub is designed to offer an online community where a wide range of resources related to Sector Resilience are logged in one designated place. This will make incorporating the five themes more accessible for businesses and individuals, with the benefit of having a diverse and informative range of relevant and trusted resources in one convenient website.

 

Who can use the Hub?

The Hub is public facing, meaning that it can be used by anyone, whether they work in the heritage sector or not. Large national organisations, small businesses, and members of the public are all welcome to browse the Hub and contribute.

 

How do I contribute to the Hub by adding a resource?

If you would like to add a resource to the Hub, you can email  onlinecommunities@historicengland.org.uk with the details. Alternatively, if you would like to be made an Admin on the site, you will need to create a KHub account and contact the same Online Communities email address. The upload process is simple, but please be aware that you will need to give appropriate tags to any resource you add, and that logos will need to be image described.

 

Who runs the Hub?

The Hub was established by Historic England and the Heritage Environment Forum after collaborating on the Sector Resilience Plan 2025-35.
