The Local Government Association and the Open Data Institute worked in partnership in 2017/8 to develop a series of six online, free eLearning modules aimed at helping to inform users on the best practices, sources of knowhow and techniques for local authorities to understand the value of the data they collect, re-use it efficiently and also meet transparency requirements with open data tools, data standards and guidance that is available freely to encourage wider take up and us of local services data.
