Open Referral UK is a UK version of the international standard for interchange of open data describing human services.

Open Referral UK is endorsed by the UK Cabinet Office’s Data Standards Authority as the means by which open data describing services should be interchanged by the public sector. The standard helps enable efficient government in accordance with the Local Digital Declaration. It encourages efficient reuse of data and minimises the need to rekey information. It supports accurate searching for services most applicable to the needs of citizens and so can help with social prescribing.
