Effective programme management is essential to the delivery of transformation programmes- which will themselves include major projects and change programmes.

The need for councils to undertake well managed projects and programmes is therefore more pressing than ever, yet comes at a time when resources are very stretched.

Recognising this position, Local Partnerships has developed an assurance review of delivery capability – looking at project and programme management across a council. This has been based on experience and lessons learned from several hundred Gateway reviews undertaken by LP over the last ten years.
