Content will be streamed for this inaugural conference, covering a range of topics, and we’d really like to see you there! Here’s what you can expect on the day…

  • Keynote address – Kate Lancaster, Chief Executive – Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists: Shaping the Future: How AI Can Transform Women’s Health. AI has the potential to transform women’s health - from enabling earlier diagnosis and more personalised care, to supporting clinicians, accelerating research, and empowering women to better understand and manage their health. But AI will only deliver on this promise if we address the gaps in the data and evidence on which these technologies are built, invest in women’s health innovation, and ensure strong governance, equity, and workforce support.  This keynote will examine opportunities and challenges of AI in women’s health and consider how we can harness it responsibly and ambitiously to close the women’s health gap while ensuring innovation is equitable, trusted, and designed to work for every woman.
  • Panel Session: AI in Screening Pathways - This panel session will discuss how AI is used in two screening pathways: diabetic retinopathy (Prof. Alicija Rudnicka, Professor of Statistical Epidemiology City St George's, University of London) and breast screening (Dr. Mark Halling-Brown, Head of Scientific Computing, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust ). Dr. Kevin Dunbar, Deputy Director of Public Health in Vaccinations & Screening, NHS England will discuss wider considerations with regards to safe scaling, governance and risk. The session will be chaired by Brhmie Balaram, DHSC/NHS England.
  • Bite-sized learning session: Dr Jeffry Hogg, Clinician Assistant Professor, University of Birmingham, will lead a bite-sized learning session which will examine the question: How can I check that AI products work for my patients?

New and existing members are warmly welcome, and we’re really looking forward to seeing you!
