The Northern Evidence Hub saw nine uploads in February 2022.

There was an understandable focus on Levelling Up, with the Government's long-awaited Levelling Up White Paper being published, along with an analysis of the issues that levelling up must address from the New Economics Foundation. To support transport business cases written against the backdrop of levelling up, the Department for Transport published their Levelling Up Toolkit.

Two reports from Transport for New Homes were also uploaded in February: one project summary from 2018 with a renewed relevance in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, and a more recent publication on car dependency in new housing estates.

Other uploads include the recent Net Zero Places research by IPPR North, looking at how different communities will be affected by the climate crisis, and a report from the Urban Transport Group, calling for a continuation of Covid-19 recovery funding for urban public transport.
